'A' Team Development

New Zealand Cricket has revealed new plans to have a regular 'A' team international series each summer.
The result of this will mean that the State Championship will decrease from 10 to 8 rounds.
The Series will involve three 5 day test matches followed by three ODI's and will all be played in the South Island with Bert Sutcliffe Oval in Lincoln (just outside of Christchurch) taking the majority of the matches.
Sri Lanka 'A' will be the first team to take part in the new intiative by NZ Cricket.

March 10-14: New Zealand 'A' v Sri Lanka 'A' at TBA
March 18-22: New Zealand 'A' v Sri Lanka 'A' at Bert Sutcliffe Oval
March 26-30: New Zealand 'A' v Sri Lanka 'A' at TBA
April 2nd: 1st ODI NZ 'A' v S.L 'A' at Bert Sutcliffe Oval
April 4th: 2nd ODI NZ 'A' v S.L 'A' at Bert Sutcliffe Oval
April 6th: 3rd ODI NZ 'A' v S.L 'A' at Bert Sutcliffe Oval
