Umar goes under the knife

Taufeeq Umar will be out of cricket for an estimated three (3) months due after injuring his left knee in a practice session ahead of the 3rd Test against Bangladesh, which is currently in progress. He is also said to be suffering from the re-occurance of an injury to his right knee.
The Pakistani opening batsman will require surgery to correct the injuries to both knees. As such, Umar will mis the entire Test and ODI series against South Africa (late September) as well as the ODI series against New Zealand in November.
