Tendulkar and Sehwag Fit
Sunday, September 7 2003India's two most valuable and destructive batsmen, Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag have passed comprehensive fitness tests and have been declared fully fit for the upcoming home series against New Zealand this October.
Both have had several months out of the game, as they have been recovering from serious injuries. Tendulkar departed for the United States to undergo an operation on his injured hand, while Sehwag had to depart from Leicestershire due to a back strain.
Despite Sehwag and Tendulkar being fit, doubt still remains over Ashish Nehra's fitness, who since April has been suffering from a ankle injury.
