Surgery for Andy Caddick

Wednesday, September 3 2003

At 34 years of age, England and Somerset pace-man, Andrew Caddick will undergo surgery later this month. The intention of the operation is to relieve the back problems which have haunted Caddick over the last few months. The source of the problem is said to be a prolapsed disc.

Caddick will be out for three (3) months as a result of the surgery and will therefore miss England's winter tours to Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. He is however expected to return in time for the February tour of the West Indies.
