Lee Career on Knife’s Edge

The career of former Australian ODI all-rounder Shane Lee is hanging on a knife’s edge – literally.
Lee has been plagued by persistent knee problems over past summers and he will have surgery in Melbourne for what will be his last attempt to regain full fitness.
Should he fail to regain full fitness, Lee has stated he will retire from he game as his value is as an all-rounder, rendering him useless if he cannot bowl.
Lee, older brother of Australian tearaway Brett, will have the surgery in Melbourne.
He has played 45 ODI’s for Australia, with a top score of 47 and best bowling figures of 5/33.
