New proteas captain named

Graeme Smith of Western Province has been named the new South African Captain, just 24 hours after Shaun Pollock was sacked as captain. After very bad runs in the Australian tours, Shaun Pollocks captaincy was close to being lost. He retained the captaincy for the World Cup, but being knocked out of the world cup in the first round was the icing on the cake, and the South African Selectors were forced to give him the boot from the captains role.
Pollock remains in the South African Team.
Graeme Smith is a 22 year old from Western Province, and will captain the team for the next two tours.
