Pura Cup: Vic vs WA

Victoria have gained maximum points with the Western Australians in their final Pura Cup match of the year, allowing them to finish third on percentages in season 2002/03.

Western Australia made 275 in their first innings thanks to 67 from Luke Ronchi, 66 from Chris Rogers and 56 from former Zimbabwean international Murray Goodwin.

Leg-spinning all-rounder Cameron White earned 6/66 for the Bushrangers, career-best figures for the former Australian under-19 captain.

Victoria then replied with 486, with Brad Hodge blasting 183, Matthew Mott compiling 61, Jason Arnberger 54, Darren Berry 49 and all-rounder Jon Moss 47.

For the Warriors, Michael Clark took 3/69 while former Test paceman Matthew Nicholson finished with 3/85.

The Warriors then made just 253 in their second innings, with Ronchi making 61, Goodwin 43 and Nicholson 41.

Cameron White completed his first 10-wicket match by taking 4/70, while Jon Moss took 2/36.

Victoria then chased the remaining 45 runs without losing a wicket.
