English spinner Ashley Giles has fallen victim to a bout of tonsillitis as England prepare for their match against Namibia.

Giles, who last played International cricket early in the Ashes series, was set to return from a broken wrist in the Cup, yet his illness delays his return.

Ian Blackwell took his place in the side against Holland earlier this week, and he will again fill his boots against Namibia today.
