Martyn out of series

Damien Martyn has been dropped from the Australian Cricket Team because he failed to recover from a finger injury that had been sustained during the Cricket World Cup recently.
Bad news for Martyn, was that his injury was getting worse as opposed to getting better. A specialist had told Martyn that the injury had shifted position from his right index finger.
He may be out for about 4 weeks without playing any cricket. As a result, the Australian Cricket Board will announce their replacement for Martyn next week.
The first test starts on April 10 in Guyana.
