Crusaders ease past limp Scorpions
Simon Cook took his 100th List A wicket as Middlesex cruised past Derbyshire at the County Ground to maintain their position at the top of the table. Cook took 3-27 and Nantie Hayward 3-36 as the hosts subsided to 161 all out, only a 57-run seventh wicket stand between Nathan Dumelow and Graeme Welch saving them from a second consecutive sub-100 total.
Middlesex lost two early wickets in reply, but Ed Joyce (74*) and Paul Weekes (60*) had little difficulty in knocking off the runs required with almost 13 overs remaining.

Oakham: Leicestershire v Worcestershire
Solanki ton easily enough for Royals
England reject Vikram Solanki struck 101 off 102 balls as Worcestershire racked up 261-8 at Oakham School, Leicestershire using seven bowlers - who all took wickets, with only Jeremy Snape taking two.
Andrew Hall then ripped the heart out of the Leicestershire batting in reply, taking 4-26 as only five players made double figures before veteran David Leatherdale cleaned up the innings, including top scorer Phil DeFreitas (26).

Hove: Sussex v Somerset
Goodwin finds form as Sabres lose again
Zimbabwean Murray Goodwin returned to form as he hit 81 at Hove as Sussex narrowly beat struggling Somerset. Mark Davis took a crucial 12 off his four balls, including a four and a six as the hosts posted 230, Andy Caddick taking 3-32.
Michael Burns (62) and Carl Gazzard (71) added 140 for the second wicket but the medium pace of Robin Martin-Jenkins (3-37) and Luke Wright (2-52) proved thier undoing as they fell six short, Caddick failing to score off any of his six balls.

Killeen burst keeps Saltires winless
Durham's low total of 203 proved enough to see off Scotland, who recorded their sixth consecutive Totesport League defeat. Gary Pratt (54) and Jon Lewis, who hit 37 off just 26 balls, added 57 for the fifth wicket before Gareth Breese and Andy Pratt threw the bat at the end, after Marcus North had limped to 6 off 45 at the top of the order.
Neil Killeen, Shoaib Akhtar and Paul Collingwood combined to reduce Scotladn to 65-5, the Scots openers also struggling to score quickly, but Colin Smith and South African-born Cedric English helped them recover to 155-6, before Killeen (4-24) returned to clear up the tail and secure a 25-run win.
