Kent sign Afridi as cover

English county Kent have signed Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi, as a cover, while Mohammed Sami is away on international duty.
Afridi, who is already in England, playing for club side Lashings, will play three Twenty20, and two Totesport Leagues games.
Afridi will stay with the county until their original choice as Sami's short-term replacement, Ian Butler arrives after New Zealand's NatWest series campaign.
Afridi has had experience in the English County cricuit with Leicestershire and Derbyshire in previous years, though without credible success.
