Waqar hints Glamorgan return

Friday, April 23 2004

Ex-Pakistan paceman Waqar Younis has said that he is willing to come out of his retirement to play for English county Glamorgan for this season.

Glamorgan will lose their overseas player Michael Kasprowicz, due to his selection for the Australian national squad to tour Zimbabwe. Waqar has hinted that he would like to fill that vacancy, while Kasprowicz is away.

Waqar had announced his retirement from all forms of cricket earlier this month.
