Streak, Flower reject ZCU offer

Former Zimbabwe captain Heath Streak, and all-rounder Grant Flower, the two most senior rebelling Zimbabwe cricketers, have rejected the latest effort to re-concile with the Zimbabwe Cricket Union (ZCU).
The ZCU made an offer on Thursday, which now is known to be of a "mediation mechanism" that might resolve the crisis.
The ZCU suggested independent arbitration, in the form of a former businessman Much Masunda, who runs an organisation set up for such purposes. However, Streak and Flower have rejected this offer.
The 'rebels' had earlier been given till May 8 to compromise with whatever changes the ZCU brings into effect, but with the failure of the latest effort at re-conciliation, it looks very unlikely.
