Bangladesh to host NZ tour

Bangladesh will host New Zealand in a Test and one-day series for the first time in October. The Bangladesh Cricket Board confirmed the series comprising two Tests and three One Day Internationals.
The series will run from October 14 to November 7, beginning with a three-day practice match and ending with the ODI series. The BCB are hoping to add to their two current Test match venues in Dhaka and Chittagong with a third venue, also in Chittagong. The venues will be inspected by the ICC prior to the tour.
The teams have met twice before in Tests, though never in Bangladesh. New Zealand won their only previous series 2-0, in both matches recording innings victories. Their four ODI meetings have also resulted in New Zealand victories.
