Wellington won by 25 runs. Wellington won the toss and batted first and were bowled out for 243 with Chris Nevin making 111 off 128 balls. The Wellington innings never truely go going with plenty of starts with James Franklin making 39 off 51 balls. Brooke Walker was the pick of the Auckland bowlers.
Along with some tight accurate bowling from Wellington, loss of regular wickets, Auckland finshed at 218-9 off their 50 overs. Matt Horne (57) and Rob Nicol (56) gave Auckland some hope, but once they got out and some starts from the Auckland lower middle order, but nobody kicked on.

Canterbury v N.Districts at Rangiora
Canterbury won by 9 wickets. N.Districts made 211-8 off their 50 overs. Nick Horlsey top scored with 62 and Bruce Martin with 31. Chris Martin took 4-60 off 8.
Canterbury were never really troubled. Getting the runs in 44.3 overs. Michael Papps top scored with 94* and Peter Fulton making an unbeaten 63*.

C.Districts won by 41 runs. C.Distrcts won the toss and made 232-6 off their 50 overs. Ross Taylor top scored with 50 along with Glen Sulzberger with 43*.
Four wickets from Andrew Schwass and some tight accurate bowling from Canterbury, Otago were bowled out for 191. Jeff Wilson top scored with 46 off 59 balls, but it wasnt enough for Otago.
