Pune Court Imposes Ban
Monday, December 1 2003The Pune district and sessions court has imposed a ban on Maharashtra cricketer, Abhijit Kale for allegedly bribing an Indian selector for a place in the national team.
Earlier, the same court had revoked the ban but a successful appeal after the BCCI filed an appeal to go against the initial court decision.
Kale will be barred from playing for Maharashtra in the current Ranji Trophy season.
