Sunday, March 7 2004The three day game between Central Districts and South Africa has ended in a draw.
South Africa set Central Districts 271 to win in two sessions on the final day.
Central got through to 195/8 when play finished with Englefield 53 not out and Mason 5 not out.
The pick of the South Africans was McKenzie who had a good double of 100* and 49*. The other batsman looked pretty settled at the crease but struggled to move on after making good starts.
Englefield had a fine game with 77 and 53 not out while Sinclair played a good knock of 99 in the 1st innings before getting a leading edge back to Boje.
The wickets were shared around with Nel taking three for the match, Terbrugge five, Schwass four and Mason four.
The South Africans now move to Hamilton for the 1st test which starts on Wednesday.
