Wellington v Canterbury at Wellington
Wellington took the intitive on day 2 of the State Championship final. After dismissing Canterbury for 192, Wellington finished stumps at 288-9. Matt Walker top scored with an unbeaten 73, James Franklin also contributed with 62 before being bowled by Chris Martin.
Martin took 4-90 to continue his good form with the ball to justify his Test call-up. Franklin's 62 comes in the face of his New Zealand 'A' call-up.
