Friday, March 5 2004Sri Lankan selectors have announced the 15-man squad for the First Test against Australia starting on Monday, with opener Avishka Gunawardene earning a surprise recall.
Alongside the explosive opener are 4 spin bowlers in Muttiah Muralidaran, Upul Chandana, Kumar Dharmasena and Kaushal Lokuarachchi.
Nuwan Kulasekara, a member of the ODI squad in the recent fixtures, was selected as the third choice paceman behind Chaminda Vaas and Nuwan Zoysa.
