Players Updated! & General News
Monday, December 29 2003Today India announced their squad to take part in the tri series in Australia (along with Zimbabwe), among the selected party was Irfan Pathan who recently made his debut in the longer game against Australia at Adelaide in the 2nd Test; he has impressed the selectors enough to be given a berth on the ODI touring side.
Irfan Pathan therefore has been added to our database and anybody with a team modification coming up will be able to select the promising bowler for your side. Irfan Pathan has entered the game with a value of 7 Points (or Rank E).
Also in an error on our part the experienced campaigner Hemang Badani was missed off the original list of players and the error has now been corrected with Hemang Badani entering the game with a value of 9 Points (or Rank D).
Full Indian Touring Party
Sourav Ganguly (capt), Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, VVS Laxman, Yuvraj Singh, Mohammad Kaif, Parthiv Patel (wk), Ajit Agarkar, Anil Kumble, Murali Kartik, Irfan Pathan, Ashish Nehra, L Balaji, Sanjay Bangar and Hemang Badani.

In other news most of you will be entering the period where you may modify team, with one change (those who added a team 20th-23rd Dec, the rest of you have a bit longerto wait, sorry). Changes are not forced but it gives you an option to make that last chance change with the first matches still a few days away.
Just a reminder that:
* Only one change maybe made each transfer period.
* You can only replace a player to the value you have remaining, so for some that will just be the value of the player you are removing, others may have had some points left over from the sign up and will be able to use those as well.

Finally we notice that quite a few users have signed up, but not actually submitted a side yet.
