Anil Kumble To Join Middlesex

India leg-spinner Anil Kumble is likely to join Middlesex for the 2004 season as their second overseas player.
Kumble has enjoyed previous spells in county cricket with Northamptonshire and Leicestershire.
Kumble is currently on tour in Australia with the Indian national side, but is expected to be available for the entire summer, prior to joining up with the Indian squad for the NatWest Challenge and ICC Champions Trophy tournaments which is to be held in England, at the end of the English summer.
John Emburey said "We are looking to sign him. We just need to get confirmation from the Board of Control. He is happy to come."
