Zimbabwe progress slowly
Sunday, February 22 2004Zimbabwe managed 441 all out on the Second Day of the First Test against Bangladesh in Harare.
After Dion Ebrahim and Stuart Carlisle both made fifty yesterday, Tatenda Taibu, Heath Streak, Gavin Ewing and Sean Ervine all made half-centuries today despite Mohammad Rafique's valiant 57-over return of 4-121.
In reply, Heath Streak struck in the penultimate over of the day, trapping Hannan Sarkar (4) plum LBW for his 199th Test wicket. Bangladesh made close at 14-1, needing another 228 to avoid the follow on.
