Bracken to miss VB series opener
Thursday, January 8 2004Nathan Bracken, the highest wicket-taker in Oct-Nov 2003's TVS cup in India, has been ruled out of the Australian squad for Friday's opening match of the VB series against India, due to a hip injury.
Bracken strained a hip muscle while fielding in the recently concluded 4th Test Match against India at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Tuesday.
Brad Williams has replaced Bracken for the first four matches in the 13-man squad.
