Canterbury v Wellington at Basin Reserve
Canterbury by 68 runs. Shannan Stewart top scored with 102 as Canterbury made 268-5 off their 50 overs. Chris Harris made an unbeaten wirlwind innings of 70 off 48 balls. Harris must be in the selectors eyes for a recall.

Matt Bell top scored for Wellington with 67 as Wellington made 200-9 off their 50 overs. The loss of regular wickets never gave Wellington much of a chance. Chris Harris took 2-31 off ten overs.

Northern Districts won by 7 wickets. Central Districts were bowled out for 177. New Zealand hopeful Jamie How top scored with 94 while Glen Sulzburger made 36. Greame Aldridge took 3-28 off 8 overs.

James Marshall made 53 and Grant Robinson made an unbeaten 42 and Joseph Yovich and unbeaten 32 as N.Districts won by seven wickets.

Otago v Auckland at Alexandra
Otago won by 17 runs. Mohammed Wasim top scored with 54 and along with Warren McSkimming making 46 as Otago made 242-9 off 50 overs. Tama Canning took 3-37 off his ten overs.

Aaron Barnes made 116 off 119 balls, but the loss of regular wickets which meant Auckland werent able to form large enough partnerships to beat Otago. Auckland finshed at 225-8 off 50 overs.
