NZ Test Squad Named

John Bracewell and his selection panel have selected their squad for the test series against Pakistan.

Stephen Fleming and Chris Cairns have both come through a good part of the Wellington/Canterbury 4 dayer at the Basin Reserve and take their places in the squad. Richard Jones has been named as the reserve batsman.

As expected Ian Bulter has been called in following the departure of Shane Bond to injury. Paul Wiseman has also been named in light of the 2nd test at the Basin Reserve being likely to take quite a lot of turn.

The full squad is as follows:

Stephen Fleming (capt), Mark Richardson, Lou Vincent, Richard Jones, Scott Styris, Craig McMillan, Chris Cairns, Jacob Oram, Robbie Hart, Daniel Vettori, Daryl Tuffey, Ian Butler, Paul Wiseman.
