NZ-Pak:Draw Likely after Day 3
Sunday, December 21 2003On a rain shortened day Pakistan continued through to finish at 227/4 with Inzamam-ul-Haq 38* and Abdul Razzaq 12*.
The players went off the field at 2:30pm due to rain/bad light with play eventually being called off at 5:15pm meaning 105 overs being scheduled to be bowled on Days 4 and 5.
In the morning Daryl Tuffey got New Zealand off to the perfect start having Yousuf Youhana caught in the slips for 28 and 26 overs later having Yasir Hameed trapped in front for 80.
With more rain forecast for the next two days the 1st test looks very much like finishing in a draw.
