Bhandari to replace Nehra

Seam bowler Amit Bhandari will be joining the Indian one-day squad in Pakistan as soon as possible, as a replacement for the injured Ashish Nehra.

Bhandari has played two one-day internationals thus far, the most recent against Zimbabwe in Perth, Austalia last month.

Nehra injured his left arm, a split webbing, while fielding off his own bowling during the second one-day international, which India lost by 12 runs.

The Indian squad for the three-Test series will be announced next Monday. Nehra hopes to be fit by then.
