Four pronged WI pace attack

The West Indies are backing four pacers for the 2nd Test beginning today at Sabina Park. The pitch, which is expected to quick, inspired the selection of the virually unknown Fidel Edwards earlier this week. Now, young Edwards gets his chance to prove his critics wrong.

An encouraging selection is the WICB's persistence with 19-yr old Jerome Taylor, despite his wicketless performance in his debut Test. Omari Banks will be getting a deserved promotion to number 7 in the order to facilitate the extra bowler and he will provide support with his off breaks. The player who makes way for Edwards is Daren Ganga, who has struggled since his consecutive hundreds against the visiting Aussies earlier this year.
