Twenty 20 Awards Winners

The Twenty 20 offered several incentives to the players to perform well with cash prizes for the following categories. Leading Run-Scorer, best strike rate, most sixes, best all-rounder, best wicket-keeper and leading wicket-taker.

The winners were as followed: -

  • Mike Hussey of Northamptonshire was the leading run-scorer with 279 runs in total

  • Andrew Symonds of Kent won the best strike rate award after he accumulated 170 runs in just 75 balls at a strike rate of 226.67

  • Michael Lumb of Yorkshire hit the most sixes

  • Gareth Batty of Worcestershire won the best all-rounder

  • Tim Ambrose of Sussex was the best of the wicket-keepers

  • Adam Hollioake of Surrey was the leading wicket-taker with 13 wickets

    Each players received in the region of £1,500.
