Sami Signs For Kent

Kent County Cricket Club today announced that Pakistan fast bowler, Mohammad Sami, is set to become the Clubs second overseas player. Mohammad Sami will join up with Kent after the three one-day Internationals between Pakistan and England this month.

Under the regulations regarding overseas players, Greg Blewett, currently standing in for Andrew Symonds, will continue to play for the Club as deputy for Sami until he arrives at the Club.

Pakistans international schedule has enabled Sami to join Kent on an 8 week contract after which the Club will review its commitments to overseas players for the rest of the season.
