Lawson and Hurley to return
Thursday, May 29 2003Fast bowler Jermaine Lawson and allrounder Ryan Hurley will be making returns to the West Indies team soon.
Lawson, who suffered back problems during the bitter/sweet historic West Indies win in the fourth Test, will return for the 1st Test against Sri Lanka which runs from the 20th-24th of June.
In response to the report of Lawson's illegal action to the ICC, he will be working on his bowling action with Andy Roberts and Kenny Benjamin in Antigue in two weeks time. The WICB is confident that he will be ready for the Sri Lanka encounter.
Ryan Hurley, who injured himself taking a catch against Australia at the Queen's Park Oval on Sunday, will return for the final two ODI's of the 7-match set. The matches will be held in Grenada on Friday the 30th of May and Sunday the 1st of June respectively.
