Glamorgan have disposed of hosts Yorkshire in their match at Headingly. For Glamorgan, Michael Powell made 47 as his side made easy work of the 164 run target. Chris Silverwood captured 4 wickets for Yorks.

Worcestershire vs Kent

Worcestershire have given Kent a 139 run hiding at Grace Road. Graeme Hick made 108, Ben Smith a polished 51 and Andrew Hall a swashbuckling 47* from just 27 balls.

Kent were then rolled for 132, with David Leatherdale taking 5/36.

Northants walloped Middlesex by 8 wickets in Shenley. Mike Hussey made an unbeaten 86 and David Sales 75 as the visitors gained the required 201.

Hampshire vs Somerset

In yet another mismatch, Hampshire smashed Somerset at the Rose Bowl. Derek Kenway made his maiden one-day hundred while John Crawley and Simon Katich made half centuries. With the ball, Dimitri Mascarenhas took 4/33.

Lancashire vs Scotland

The excellent debut summer for the Scottish side continued as they beat Lancashire by 41 runs at Old Trafford. John Williamson and Colin Smith both made half centuries, while for Lancashire Mal Loye made 38.
