Australian ODI Squad Named

Australia have named an almost identical squad to the World Cup winning squad for the ODI leg of the West Indies tour.

The only change to the final 15 from the World Cup is the inclusion of South Australian fast bowler Jason Gillespie, who missed the final stages of the tournament.

He replaces Nathan Bracken, who has an injured ankle but loses his place in the squad as he replaced Gillespie at the World Cup.

Nathan Hauritz retains his place in the squad as the second spinner following a lazy World Cup holiday for the young off-spinner.

Damien Martyn will face a fitness test before he flies to the Caribbean to join the squad. He has a broken finger.

Glenn McGrath, as expected, is available for the squad and has been selected.
