Day 2: Sri Lanka Board vs NZ

New Zealand used the 2nd day for batting practice in their warmup game against the Sri Lanka Board President's XI.

The top order all got a start with the top scorers being Richardson who made 106 before he retired, Fleming with 69 and Styris with 64.

Richard Jones in his first match in New Zealand colours was out for 14.

The pick of the Sri Lankan bowlers was K Fernando who had figures of 3/66 of 20 overs.

New Zealand will play another two day warmup game at the same venue which starts today. The first test starts on the 25th of April.
