Nel sent home in disgrace

Northamptonshire's overseas signing for 2003, South African paceman Andre Nel, has been sent home from the South Africa A squad on tour in Australia.

Nel, who will join current adversary Mike Hussey on the books at Northampton in the new season, was arrested for drink-driving in Tasmania.
