England Squad For First Test

After almost two years of battling against injuries, Darren Gough has forced his way back into the Test side after an impressive NatWest Challenge against Pakistan and then in the NatWest Series against South Africa and Zimbabawe.

Robert Key is omitted from the side after a poor start to the season, however Anthony McGrath has kept his place in the side after Graham Thorpe was by many expected to return to the Test arena after a fine season with the bat.
