Hooper to Debut for Lancs

Former West Indian captain Carl Hooper is set to make his debut for Lancashire in the championship match against Essex.

Lancashire, one of the favoured sides for the County Championship following an impressive start to the season, may lose Andrew Flintoff for the match.

Hooper was signed as a replacement for the unavailable Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh.
