NZ thrash Pakistan
Monday, May 12 2003New Zealand beat Pakistan for the first time in 7 matches yesterday dismissing Pakistan for only 116 off 43.3 overs.
Needing only 117, New Zealand got there in the 28th over for the loss of only 3 wickets.
Daryl Tuffey was named man of the match for his figures of 2 for 28 off 10 overs. Shane Bond had figures of 2 for 7 off 5 overs but went off the ground after that first spell after suffering a lower back strain and is in serious doubt for tomorrow's second match against Sri Lanka.
