Award for Mal Loye

Lancashire's Mal Loye has scooped the Hill House Hammond 'Player of the Month' award, it was announced earlier today.

Loye has been in good form this season so far, hitting centuries against both Surrey and Nottinghamshire, and is looking to make it three in the current game against Essex.

Last season, Loye hit 768 runs for his former county Northants at 36.57 before departing for pastures new.
