India look to Hadlee

With Sir Richard Hadlee facing an uncertain future as Covenor of Selectors for NZ Cricket, India are rumoured to be tableing an offer for Hadlee to join their coaching staff.

Wisden Cricinfo has reported that Fanie De Villiers was supposedly the BCCI's first choice as bowling coach however martial problems have ruled him out paving the way for Hadlee to enter once he finishes his current job with NZ Cricket.

Terry Alderman and John Lever have been the other names mentioned although Hadlee would be the clear front-runner should his contract at NZ Cricket not be extended.
