Caddick's Season Finished
Wednesday, July 2 2003Andrew Caddick's domestic season is over due to a back injury, as time has finally caught up with the veteran quick and seemingly finished his international career.
Caddick, who has missed the international summer with a stress fracture in his right foot, was expected to be available and playing for England against South Africa in the 5-Test Series.
Now, however, it seems Caddick's last international hurrah was ironically the World Cup in South Africa this year. His latest international was the loss to Australia, a familiar result for the English throughout his career.
At the age of 34, Caddick is not expected to play international cricket again, only to appear for Somerset as his career winds down. He has taken a total of 303 international wickets.
