Hampshire and Durham have fought out a draw at the Rose Bowl, with Simon Katich stamping his authority and class over the game with both bat and ball.
Hampshire made 456 in their one and only innings, with Katich registering his maiden ton for the county with 135, Dimitri Mascarenhas smashed 92, Nic Pothas 79 and Shaun Udal an unbeaten 60. Danny Law took 4/71 while Nick Phillips also took 4 wickets.
Durham then made 235 in their first innings, with debutant Jamie Lowe making 80. Wasim Akram, Ed Giddins and Alan Mullally each took 3 wickets. Durham were then lucky to avoid defeat in their second innings, with Hampshire leaving the visitors 9 wickets down, with Katich and Wasim taking 3 wickets.

Glamorgan vs Derbyshire
Glamorgan have hammered Derbyshire by an innings in Swansea. The hosts made 395 in their innings, with all-rounder Robert Croft contributing 84 and Jonathan Hughes 69. Tim Lungley took 4/101.
Derbyshire then made 209, with Michael Di Venuto's 29 being the top score in an innings where everyone bar Liam Wharton and Chris Bassano made a start. Croft took 6/71 in a commanding display. They were then rolled for 116, with Alex Wharf taking 3/12 in a surprisingly inept batting display for Derbs.

Somerset vs Worcestershire
Worcestershire have completed a comprehensive victory against Somerset thanks to hundreds by Stephen Peters (165) Anurag Singh (105) and Andrew Hall (104). They made a mammoth 538 in their first innings, with Ian Blackwell taking 4 wickets for Somerset.
Somerset where then bowled out for 238 and 367, with Jamie Cox making 160 in the second innings. Gareth Batty took 6/88 in the second innings following on from his 3 first innings victims.
The visitors then chased the remaining 68 for victory, and lost just 1 wicket.

Gloucestershire vs Northamptonshire
Northamptonshire have registered an impressive victory over Gloucestershire thanks to brilliant individual performances from overseas players Mike Hussey and Andre Nel.
Northants made 8 dec 622 in their first innings, with Aussie Mike Hussey completing yet another double ton with 264, while Gerald Brophy made an unbeaten 152. Andre Nel then cleaned up Gloucestershire in their first innings, taking 5/47.
The hosts fared little better in their second innings, with Nel taking another 3 wickets and Jason Brown 4/106.
