NZ name first test team

The New Zealand cricket selector have named the side for the first test against Sri Lanka at P Saravanamuttu Stadium in Colombo starting on the 25th of April at 4.30pm(NZ time).

The team has a last minute change to it with the injury of Scott Styris meaning he couldn't bowl. Jacob Oram was brought into the side to bat at number 6 and will be the third seamer however Styris was kept in as a batsman.

Daryl Tuffey was rewarded for his good form in the warm up matches to partner Shane Bond with the new ball ahead of Ian Butler. NZ will also take two spinners in to the match with Paul Wiseman backing up number one spinner Daniel Vettori.
