Day 2: Australia vs UWIVCXI

Australia resumed Day 2 at 0/61, with Justin Langer and Jimmy Maher putting together a partnership of 202 before Langer was dismissed with 96 runs on the board, LBW to Ricardo Powell.

Star guest to the match Collins Obuya took 2 wickets, dismissing Test hopeful Martin Love for 10 and Jimmy Maher for a marvellous 142, his first century for Australia.

Captain Steve Waugh made 46, Michael Clarke 8 and Brad Hogg 18. Andy Bichel was not out on 17.

For the Vice Chancellors XI, ODI bowler Corey Collymore took 2/54, Ricardo Powell 2/66 and Obuya 2/77 from his 15 overs of leg-spin.

The hosts then lost 2 wickets before the close of play, with Brad Williams snaring his first wicket in first-class cricket for Australia.
