WI Walk of Fame Inductions

Brian Lara, Corey Collymore, Fidel Edwards and Wavell Hinds will be inducted into the Walk of Fame at the 3 W's Oval today. The ceremony, which begins at 6 pm, will be held at the Cave Hill campus of UWI (University of the West Indies).

To be inducted into the Walk of Fame, a batsman must score score a century and a bowler must take 5 wickets in a single innings. Lara's 209, Hinds' 119, Collymore's 7/57 and Edwards' 5/36 - all gained against Sri Lanka in the recent Test series - are the basis for the distinction.

The induction ceremony will be open to the public.
