Best & Edwards to miss OD series

Promising pacers Tino Best and Fidel Edwards will miss out on the upcoming West Indies limited overs championship, as they rest back injuries sustained on the recent tour of England. Neither batsman is experienced in OD matches for his home country of Barbados, with Edwards playing just 1 match and Tino Best none. However, both have played for the West Indies senior team on numerous occasions over the past year and thus will be missed.

Barbados will instead look to the bowling prowess of Ian Bradshaw, ICC Champions Trophy hero, and Corey Collymore. Both are experienced regional cricketers and have represented the West Indies on numerous occasions. With them are Test bowler Corey Collymore and spinners, Ryan Hurley and Sulieman Benn.
ODI
Veterans and former Windies players, Floyd Reifer and Sherwin Campbell provide a solid nucleus of experienced batting, whilst the talented Ryan Hinds and Dwayne Smith look to establish themselves in the middle order.

Once again leading the Bajan side is West Indies Champions Trophy wicketkeeper, Courtney Browne.
