Alex Wharf joins England's ICC Champions Trophy squad after Kabir Ali fails to recover from a side strain.

Glamorgan's Alex Wharf has been rewarded for his instant impact in the England one-day side in the current NatWest Challenge against India with a place in the England Champions Trophy squad after Kabir Ali was forced to withdraw after losing the battle to overcome a side strain injury.

With just a few days before the start of the ICC Champions Trophy it hasn't just been England that have been hit by late injuries as both South Africa and Pakistan have both been forced to make late changes to their squads with South Africa replacing Andre Nel with seam bowler Charl Langeveldt.

Meanwhile while Pakistan have been forced to replace Shabbir Ahmed with all rounder Azhar Mahmood.
