Dw Smith out, Ryan Hinds in

Explosive allrounder Dwayne Smith will miss the upcoming Champions Trophy tournament in England. The Bajan player injured his right shoulder during the recently completed 4th Test against England and has flown home from the West Indies training camp in Bermuda.

Smith currently is limited in movement of the muscle in question due to severe pain. His replacement is fellow Barbadian allrounder, Ryan Hinds. Hinds, a left-handed batsman and fingerspinner, is also in Bermuda currently, but has been competing against the West Indies in a series of warmup games between Barbados and the regional side.

The West Indies is grouped with South Africa and Bangladesh and play their first game on the 15th of this month (September).
