Trent Bridge: Nottinghamshire v Leicestershire (Day 4)

After the third day had been wiped out by the rain, Leicestershire battled well to make the most of their good fortune. Starting at 142 for 7, their last three wickets took the score to 212 and, more importantly, used up much of the morning session. Following on, defiant knocks from Robinson and Hodge ensured a share of the spoils.

Southampton: Hampshire v Glamorgan (Day 4)

An exciting final day saw Hampshire just unable to force a win, despite fine bowling performances from Shaun Udal and Shane Warne. Brown and Crawley flogged the Glamorgan bowlers to all parts (with England's Simon Jones sending down 10 wicketless overs for 51) before Warne's declaration set a target of 269 from what turned out to be 59 overs. Glamorgan were looking good when Elliott and Croft took them to 85 for 1, but a flurry of wickets saw them collapse to 130 for 8 and defeat looked inevitable. However, Dale and Kasprowicz held out to secure a vital draw for the Welshmen.

Hampshire 369
Brown 90, Kenway 64, Thomas 4 for 105, Croft 3 for 73
Glamorgan 342
Thomas 105, Powell 89, Mascarenhas 5 for 65
Hampshire 241 for 1
Brown 109*, Crawley 70*
Glamorgan 150 for 8
Udal 3 for 39, Warne 4 for 26

Headingley: Yorkshire v Derbyshire (Day 3)

Yorkshire look set to make up lost ground in the race for promotion, after Blain and Harvey led the way in demolishing Derbyshire. A similar performance on the final day will see them well placed to make a final push, and, after today's efforts, it's hard to see Derbyshire offering much resistance. Today, with the exception of Hassan Adnan, they were woeful.

Yorkshire 442 for 8 dec
Wood 123, McGrath 109, Lehmann 66, Welch 3 for 118
Derbyshire 240
Hassan Adnan 86, Harvey 3 for 38, Blain 4 for 38
