Bell to Captain NZ 'A'

New Zealand selectors have announced the 'A' squad for the upcoming tour of South Africa, with Wellington opening batsman Matthew Bell again selected to lead the squad.

The squad boasts an experienced line up that includes 10 Black Cap players - Bell, Tama Canning, James Franklin, Gareth Hopkins, Chris Martin, Michael Mason, Mathew Sinclair, Lou Vincent, Kerry Walmsley and Paul Wiseman.

Also included in the squad are the promising batting duo of Peter Fulton and Ross Taylor, as well as opener Jamie How and exciting speedster Richard Sherlock. As Shane Bond continues to struggle with injury, this tour provides Sherlock an opportunity to press his claims as a penetrative fast bowler.

Matthew Walker, Paul Hitchcock and Andre Adams were not considered for selection do to injury and unavailability.
